Mark is the Vice President of Product Strategy at LeaseAccelerator. He is responsible for optimizing the customer journey from the initial sales discussions through the implementation process to the achievement of long-term business outcomes. His team’s responsibilities including defining LeaseAccelerator’s product strategy, roadmap, and requirements.
Mark has over 35 years of experience in finance and accounting, primarily in vice president level roles at various telecommunications and software firms. At LeaseAccelerator, Mark pioneered the customer success program and led the product management team. Prior to LeaseAccelerator, he held positions at Razorsight Communications (VP), XO communications (VP), and eSpire Communications (VP).
Over the course of his career, Mark has led the strategic direction and development for multiple firms, including a firm selling cloud based financial assurance software applications. He has managed a budget of over $750 million, identifying cost reduction and risk management opportunities that led to savings of over $20 million each year. He has created and brought to market new software products and driven the development of new application enhancements.
His responsibilities have included profit and loss planning, expense management, business and system requirements definition, and program management. He also has extensive experience in operational and process analysis, accounting, strategic procurement, and vendor relations.
Mark started his career as a staff auditor at Peat Marwick after earning an accounting degree from Virginia Tech.
In his free time Mark enjoys spending time on the Delaware shore, hiking, working out, reading, playing darts, and spending time with friends.
